                           Who May Be Considered: U.S. Citizens                                               Duties:  Selected Psychologist will work at the VA Western New York’s Nursing Home Care Unit located at the VA Medical Center in Batavia. Will promote the delivery of psychosocial interventions for behavioral and other psychological problems in residents with dementia and other neuropsychiatric and mental health conditions.  Experience: Three (3) years experience preferred particularly in the area of geropsychology. Licensure in any state accepted; NYS license preferred.  Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university whose curriculum is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA), and have completed a full curriculum in clinical or counseling psychology pertinent to the position being filled and a 1-year internship accredited by the APA.  Current NYS driver’s license is required.  Benefits: Comprehensive Federal benefits package! University of Louisville
The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Louisville invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning July 1, 2008.  We seek a colleague whose program of research bridges clinical and experimental sub-disciplines of psychology and has the potential to complement existing research within the Department (

Health Psychology - University of Kansas
The Department of Psychology seeks to fill a tenure-track position in the area of health psychology starting August 18, 2008 (or later starting date negotiable).  This position will be at the assistant professor level and will be supplemented by an annual stipend to support research and other scholarly activities and designated the Beatrice A. Wright Scholar Assistant Professorship. Candidates should have a Ph.D., be ABD, or have a terminal degree in Psychology or a related discipline by start date of appointment. Ph.D. is required within 12 months of the appointment start date. Faculty Position - Clinical Psychology, Emphasis on Aging, UCCS

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs anticipates a tenure-track position for a clinical psychologist with specialized training in geropsychology beginning August 2008. Applicants should have a Ph.D. from a university-affiliated APA-accredited clinical program with research and clinical training in aging. Faculty are committed to excellence in teaching and research, with the expectation that faculty maintain a productive program of research with commitment to obtain external funding. Clinical instruction and supervision in the department's community clinic (CU Aging Center) will be part of the teaching load. Licensability in Colorado within first year is essential. The fifteen faculty in the Psychology Department currently offer an undergraduate degree, MA programs in clinical and experimental, and a new Ph.D. in geropsychology that launched in 2004 (more info at http://www.uccs.edu).
