Duties:
Selected Psychologist will work at the VA Western New York’s
Nursing Home Care Unit located at the VA Medical Center in
Batavia. Will promote the delivery of psychosocial interventions
for behavioral and other psychological problems in residents with
dementia and other neuropsychiatric and mental health conditions.
Experience:
Three (3) years experience preferred particularly in the area of
geropsychology. Licensure in any state accepted; NYS license
preferred. Doctoral degree in
Psychology from an accredited college or university whose
curriculum is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA),
and have completed a full curriculum in clinical or counseling
psychology pertinent to the position being filled and a 1-year
internship accredited by the APA. Current NYS driver’s
license is required.

Health Psychology - University of Kansas.
The Department of

psychology starting August 18,

assistant professor level and will be supplemented by an annual stipend to
support research and other scholarly activities and designated the Beatrice A.
Wright Scholar Assistant Professorship. Candidates should have a Ph.D., be ABD,
or have a terminal degree in Psychology or a related discipline by start date of

Candidates should also have specialized training and emphasis in health
psychology. The candidate’s primary affiliation will be with the Clinical
Psychology Program and its specialization area in health psychology. We seek

Faculty Position - Clinical Psychology, Emphasis on Aging, UCCS
The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs anticipates a
tenure-track position for a clinical psychologist with specialized
training in geropsychology beginning August 2008. Applicants
should have a Ph.D. from a university-affiliated APA-accredited
clinical program with research and clinical training in aging.
Faculty are committed to excellence in teaching and research, with
the expectation that faculty maintain a productive program of
research with commitment to obtain external funding. Clinical
instruction and supervision in the department's community clinic
(CU Aging Center) will be part of the teaching load. Licensability
in Colorado within first year is essential. The fifteen faculty in
the Psychology Department currently offer an undergraduate degree,
MA programs in clinical and experimental, and a new Ph.D. in
